• How can you know if a host family is "nice"? - We do not accept all host families! We select them according to their impression. Our team is experienced in filtering "difficult" families. We ask past au pairs for their feedback and then decide if we accept the family again. Sometimes we receive calls from families that do not give us a coherent feeling when talking to them. Most of the time we do not hear from them again after the first talk.. A family that is not even willing to let themselves be checked by an agency will have good reasons for that, right?
• I can find soooo many families on the internet, Au-fair.com sends me only a few per week - Our host family profiles are hand-picked. This increases the effort a family has to make to submit the necessary documents. This provides with a degree of security that you won't get elsewhere!
• How do you confirm that the host family profile is real and not a SCAM? - All Au-fair.com host families are checked by our team and we establish a personal contact with all families to find out about their background.
• What if the host family cancels the placement for private reasons after your visa application? - With Au-fair.com the host family will have to refund your expenses for the visa application then. We also ensure that you get another host family to make use of the visa.
• Whom will you contact in case the host families violates my rights? - You can contact us around the clock, 7 days per week. We will find an immediate solution, if necessary.
